I'm a stylist, nanny, and figure skating coach. After graduating from college and working in the fashion retail industry for several years, 2020 was the year I took my passion for style and turned it into a business! I love DIY home projects and I’m equally comfortable operating a power saw or picking out the perfect pair of shoes. I'm extremely close with my family and they are frequently recipients of my solicited (or unsolicited) fashion advice.
Many of us have been working from home for over a year now (can you believe that?!). And let’s be honest, we’ve all been rotating through the same 5 things when we get dressed in the morning.
But, COVID will be over at some point, and at that point, we’re going to have to remember how to get dressed for work in an office 😉 Let’s ease into it with 5 easy & comfortable work-from-home looks.
**I’m a strong supporter of wearing shoes while you work from home, so you can find some shoe suggestions in the outfit pictures as well.
1. Matching set
You’re still wearing sweatpants, but it’s a coordinating outfit so it’s like fancy sweatpants, right?
2. Tee + long cardigan
This could be a concert tee, a patterned tee, or even a plain tee. Add a necklace if you want take the outfit up a notch!
3. Tunic sweater + leggings
Comfy on bottom, but fancy enough on top for a Zoom meeting.
4. Knit top + comfy jeans
Some people are “leggings people”, some prefer jeans. So for you “jeans people”, here is a comfy look for you to try! Think looser fitting jeans (straight leg, boyfriend fit) not your tightest skinnies!
5. Chambray shirt + joggers
Joggers always make me feel productive – like I’m ready to go take off on a light jog or something 😉 You could also swap out the chambray shirt for a cardigan for the same effect
So do yourself a little favor: change out of your PJs & pick an easy outfit off of this list. Start with 1 day a week of getting fully ready and then work your way up to 5 days. YOU’VE GOT THIS GIRL!
