I'm a stylist, nanny, and figure skating coach. After graduating from college and working in the fashion retail industry for several years, 2020 was the year I took my passion for style and turned it into a business! I love DIY home projects and I’m equally comfortable operating a power saw or picking out the perfect pair of shoes. I'm extremely close with my family and they are frequently recipients of my solicited (or unsolicited) fashion advice.
What better way to spend my 26th birthday, than exploring new places?
I spent the day with my sister Lily. We first stopped in Half Price Books – and seriously, I don’t know the last time I went to an ACTUAL bookstore. I love that you can find super unique items there and it’s always a surprise on what you’ll find! While we were originally there to try and sell some old textbooks from college, I found a section of books about fashion & found some GEMS.
My favorite find was a coffee table book of old Vogue magazine covers – SO COOL. Here is the updated version on Amazon if you’re interested (affiliate link).
After the bookstore, we went to Black Coffee & Waffle Bar on Marshall Ave in St. Paul. They have such a unique menu of “fancy” waffles. My sister got the S’mores waffle and I got the Naughty Waffle and we split (because, DUH that’s the best way to do it).
After the bookstore & the waffle bar, we spent 2 hours at the Xfinity store (not nearly as exciting…) and then I spent the evening at the ice rink (cause, where else would I be on my birthday?!) for the last night of summer group skating lessons.
And I’m all about the neutrals, but HAD to wear some pink today cause it’s my birthday duhhh. I wore my fav pink pieces that I own, my platform converse (pink is currently out of stock, but here are the white ones – affiliate link) & my pink fringe earrings (affiliate link)!
