I'm a stylist, nanny, and figure skating coach. After graduating from college and working in the fashion retail industry for several years, 2020 was the year I took my passion for style and turned it into a business! I love DIY home projects and I’m equally comfortable operating a power saw or picking out the perfect pair of shoes. I'm extremely close with my family and they are frequently recipients of my solicited (or unsolicited) fashion advice.
Whether you’ve been an online reseller for awhile or are a newbie, here are my online reselling supply ESSENTIALS for making sales on Poshmark, Mercari, and eBay (p.s. these items are Amazon affiliate links).
First off, the BEST investment I have ever made in my reselling business was getting a label printer. No more printing on paper and then cutting out the label and taping it on. This has made my shipping process so much more efficient!
After reading a bunch of reviews online, I ended up going with the Brother QL-1100 Wide Format Thermal Label Printer. Originally, I bought the actual Brother name brand labels, but then once those ran out I tried an off-brand and those have worked just as well (but are cheaper). You can find them here.
When I don’t use the free shipping boxes from the post office, I love using these poly mailers – I feel like its more fun to receive a cute looking package, it feels more like a present!
For better lighting in my photos, I swear by this super lightweight ring light. I use it for taking my product photos and for filming Reels for Instagram! The cord is also super long which is incredibly helpful, and it has an adjustable phone attachment in the middle.
For hanging my items up for cute pictures, I use this clothing rack.
Another must have: this fabric shaver – I mainly use it for sweaters and athletic leggings. It improves the look of those items by removing the pilled pieces on the clothing.
For tape, I ALWAYS go with on-brand, because cheaper tape generally means way cheaper quality… These are the clear packing tape rolls I love, and I put them in this tape dispenser.
I also love this handheld steamer – it plugs into the wall and is lightweight.
For all clothing measurements, I use this retractable tape measure.
If you have any questions about other reselling tools, please let me know!
