I'm a stylist, nanny, and figure skating coach. After graduating from college and working in the fashion retail industry for several years, 2020 was the year I took my passion for style and turned it into a business! I love DIY home projects and I’m equally comfortable operating a power saw or picking out the perfect pair of shoes. I'm extremely close with my family and they are frequently recipients of my solicited (or unsolicited) fashion advice.
I feel like its reached the part of winter where I’m getting stuck in a little bit of a style rut – wearing the same 3 sweatpant sets on rotation…anyone else?!
Here are a bunch of winter appropriate outfit ideas to help jumpstart your style again!
I thrifted this jacket and LOVE it.
A black dress has so much versatility – for this outfit, I just added a jacket & over the knee boots. You could layer a cardigan over it for a more casual vibe.
I wore this around Christmas, but it’s a great dressy option – think date nights or nights out with friends!
This outfit formula could include a knit turtleneck, or a turtleneck sweater, depending on the weather. I added jeans and booties – INCLUDING boot socks, so make the look feel more cohesive. Add a hat for a cozy feel, or if you need to cover up some day 3 hair 😉
Cozy sweatpants that can be worn for an outfit? Yes please! This matching set is from Old Navy, and I wear it so often.
I added a coat to make it look a little more dressy & a little less like pajamas for when we went to walk in downtown Excelsior!
5 ideas of how to make your basic sweater more interesting:
Mesh long sleeves are so fun, because you can layer under OR over them. I went for “over” this time, with a black tank (affiliate link) from Target.
I paired it with some straight leg jeans and heeled booties.
Dress up a plain sweater & jeans look with jewelry, accessories, and heeled booties.
Or, wear with sneakers for a casual take on the same outfit formula!
