I'm a stylist, nanny, and figure skating coach. After graduating from college and working in the fashion retail industry for several years, 2020 was the year I took my passion for style and turned it into a business! I love DIY home projects and I’m equally comfortable operating a power saw or picking out the perfect pair of shoes. I'm extremely close with my family and they are frequently recipients of my solicited (or unsolicited) fashion advice.
Not sure what kind of shoes to wear in this weird time in between winter and spring? Like, its not BOOT weather, but its not flip flop weather either. Here are 4 categories of shoes to start wearing as we transition into spring.
Slides are great because they show *some* skin but your toes are still covered. And they are a perfect shoe for work! They can be paired with any style of denim, too.
Here is a classic slide option from Target (in a few different colors). I also love these black ones that have a slight heel – and are comfortable!
Target just came out with these high top platform white sneakers (left) and I love them! I have a low-top Steve Madden pair I wore SO much last year, so I’m excited to get these in the rotation as well. White sneakers are an easy way to brighten up an outfit, and give a more springtime playful feel to your outfit!
I got these heeled clogs at EVEREVE a few years ago, but Target has some great budget-friendly options right now, like these ones here. Clogs (like slides) are a great option that shows *SOME* skin, while skill keeping your toes covered. Another great option for work, and a fun way to dress up jeans.
Pull out your wedges again! These help give a springy feel to your outfits, even if you’re wearing something more “wintery” like jeans. I got these ones at Target a few years ago, but they always come out with new styles each spring. I love these ones they have right now, that come in black and cream!
