I'm a stylist, nanny, and figure skating coach. After graduating from college and working in the fashion retail industry for several years, 2020 was the year I took my passion for style and turned it into a business! I love DIY home projects and I’m equally comfortable operating a power saw or picking out the perfect pair of shoes. I'm extremely close with my family and they are frequently recipients of my solicited (or unsolicited) fashion advice.
As someone who works from home, I’m often in comfy clothes every day. So it was really fun to play around with some business casual outfits for today’s blog post. So for those of you still going into the office – this post is for you!
(FYI, there are some affiliate links in this blog post, meaning I will make a small amount of commission at no cost to you!)
The key to this outfit including jeans but still being dressy enough for work: the jeans are a darker, clean wash. And the booties dress them up as well!
Here is a similar belt to the one I’m wearing.
For this outfit idea, I paired a classic sweater with a midi skirt from Target. I chose booties to elongate my leg, but a slide would work too.
A good mix of dressy and casual. To style the blouse in a more *fun* way than just tucking it in, I unbuttoned 2 buttons of the blouse and added a little knot.
I finished the outfit with my favorite black skinny jeans from American Eagle – if you’re an hourglass body type, these are MADE for you (no back gapping)!
Hope this helps give some inspiration to your fall business work wardrobe!
