I'm a stylist, nanny, and figure skating coach. After graduating from college and working in the fashion retail industry for several years, 2020 was the year I took my passion for style and turned it into a business! I love DIY home projects and I’m equally comfortable operating a power saw or picking out the perfect pair of shoes. I'm extremely close with my family and they are frequently recipients of my solicited (or unsolicited) fashion advice.
We’re in that weird time period where we’ve gotten a *HINT* of spring weather, and then it acts like winter again. Here are 4 ways that you can start that transition from your winter wardrobe to your spring wardrobe!
Floral patterns don’t often make an appearance in winter outfits…so bring them out back again!
Think: pinks, yellows, oranges. Even if its paired back to something more “winter-y”, this helps get a little spring-y pep in your outfits!
Instead of your cozy cardigans, try a button up plaid, chambray shirt, or a blazer. You’ll still have a layer (especially for indoor A/C environments) but won’t be too hot!
Some ideas: a sweater with a skirt, a dress with booties.
In winter we generally gravitate towards darker washes, dark blue and black. Pull out your lighter wash styles, and those distressed styles that you haven’t been wearing much since you didn’t want your skin to get cold 😉
