My next client was Annika, a friend from skating growing up! She lives near me, but due to COVID, we decided to do a virtual session instead. Thank goodness for technology, am I right?!

Annika works in a small PR firm in Minneapolis. She still commutes into the office, so she needs to wear business appropriate outfits. Besides that, she wanted some fun outfits that she could wear for date nights, and an outfit for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Before our session, Annika gave me a rundown of her general style & items that she wears most often. In her case, this was dress pants, tanks, and jackets.

We started by going through her closet 1 category at a time. First pants, then tops, then jackets. After knowing the rough overview of her closet, we started putting together different outfit combinations for her to wear to work.

After a while, she let me know she has a leather jacket that she never wears. So, we ended up putting together a bunch of different outfits with it for both work and date nights! I love being able to “breathe new life” into those items that have gotten forgotten in the back of your closet.

By the end of the session, we had a bunch of outfit ideas for her to wear into the office, as well as some date night looks & an outfit for both Thanksgiving and Christmas.
