I don’t know about you, but I’m a girl that LOVES to shop but also wants to be financially responsible. Here are my 4 favorite ways to get clothes on a budget:

1. Thrift stores!

Hands down my favorite place. I love the thrill of the find…it may take a bit of time, but if you’re patient enough in the search you’ll find some super unique pieces at great prices. My favorite local thrift stores are Arc’s Value Village on France Ave and the PROP shop in Eden Prairie. I wrote up a blog post of my top thrifting tips, you can read it here.

2. Friends/family getting rid of clothes.

What a great way to save some money, by looking through items your friends or family members are getting rid of. I just got a black blouse from my 94-year-old grandma!

3. Online reselling websites.

4. Clearance racks in retail stores.

I was just on the hunt for my sister’s birthday present and had found the shoes she wanted in a store, but they didn’t have the right size. I decided to peruse the clearance racks on the way out (in hopes of finding something cute for myself) and ended up finding the shoes she wanted IN HER SIZE and $20 off the retail price! Again, a great place to look if you have the patience 🙂
