I'm a stylist, nanny, and figure skating coach. After graduating from college and working in the fashion retail industry for several years, 2020 was the year I took my passion for style and turned it into a business! I love DIY home projects and I’m equally comfortable operating a power saw or picking out the perfect pair of shoes. I'm extremely close with my family and they are frequently recipients of my solicited (or unsolicited) fashion advice.
I’m all for a cozy, casual outfit. But there are little ways you can still style your outfit so you can still feel put together even if you’re comfy! I challenge you to up-level your most casual outfits with one of the following tips. FYI there are some affiliate links in this post, where I can earn a small amount of commission at no cost to you.
Cuff your sleeves, add a front or side tuck.
Earrings, bracelets, simple necklace. My go-to hoops are from Old Navy, my necklace is from a local boutique, and my bracelets are a random collection of single bracelets that I’ve put together as their own set!
This is the curling iron I have had ever since I’ve had shorter hair, and I LOVE it. I can curl my whole head in under 10 minutes, it’s been a game-changer.
I added black lug booties, but fashion sneakers would be a fun choice too! Or my Sorel wedge booties are a go-to also.
Add a shacket, a tan peacoat, a chunky cardigan, a vest. Lots of options here!
